Neiguan (PC6)
Neiguan is the Luo-connecting point of the Pericardium meridian and one of the Eight Confluent Points. It is commonly used for heart-mind disorders and stomach qi rebellion.
Location
On the palmar aspect of the forearm, 2 cun (about 3 finger-widths) above the wrist crease, between the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis tendons.
TCM Functions
- Calms the Mind: Treats palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, poor memory
- Harmonizes Stomach: Relieves nausea, vomiting, hiccups
- Regulates Qi: Improves chest tightness, chest pain, stomach pain
- Relieves Motion Sickness: Effective for carsickness and seasickness
How to Massage

For Nausea:
- Press firmly with thumb
- Hold 1-2 minutes
- Can press anytime when nauseous

- Gentle pressure before bed
- Combine with deep breathing
- 2-3 minutes each side

- Press when palpitations occur
- Moderate pressure until sore
- Can press both sides simultaneously
