Phlegm-Heat Congestion
Phlegm-dampness stagnates and transforms into heat; phlegm and heat bind together to obstruct the lung passage. Often caused by spicy food, excess alcohol, or chronic late nights generating stomach heat that condenses fluids into phlegm.

Press each point for 1-2 min, 1-2 times daily📍 At the lateral end of the elbow crease, midpoint between the crease and the lateral epicondyle

Dissolves phlegm and dampness, harmonizes the middle, clears phlegm-heat

Dietary Guidance
- Pear, loquat, water chestnut (cool and moisten the lungs)
- Lotus root, white radish (clear heat, dissolve phlegm)
- Mung beans, bitter melon (clear heat, drain fire)
- Chrysanthemum tea, loquat leaf tea
- All alcohol — spirits, beer, wine
- Chili, Sichuan pepper, black pepper and other spicy foods
- Lamb, lychee and other warming foods
- Fried and grilled foods
Lifestyle Adjustments
- 1 Regular sleep, in bed by 11 pm
- 2 Drink 1500–2000 ml of water daily
- 3 Walk after meals to aid digestion and prevent heat accumulation
- 4 Quit smoking and drinking to reduce throat irritation
