Rose Flower Tea
Rose is warm in nature, sweet and slightly bitter, entering the Liver and Spleen meridians. It soothes liver qi and moves blood. Rose tea is a classic TCM drink for liver qi stagnation and emotional imbalance.
Ingredients
- Dried rose buds, 5-8 flowers
- Honey or rock sugar, to taste (optional)
Preparation
- Place dried roses in a cup
- Pour 90-95°C (194-203°F) hot water
- Cover and steep 5-8 minutes
- Add honey or rock sugar if desired
- Can resteep 2-3 times
