Rose Flower Tea

Rose is warm in nature, sweet and slightly bitter, entering the Liver and Spleen meridians. It soothes liver qi and moves blood. Rose tea is a classic TCM drink for liver qi stagnation and emotional imbalance.

Ingredients

  • Dried rose buds, 5-8 flowers
  • Honey or rock sugar, to taste (optional)

Preparation

  1. Place dried roses in a cup
  2. Pour 90-95°C (194-203°F) hot water
  3. Cover and steep 5-8 minutes
  4. Add honey or rock sugar if desired
  5. Can resteep 2-3 times
