Astragalus (Huang Qi)
Astragalus, known as Huang Qi or Bei Qi in Chinese, is the dried root of Astragalus membranaceus or Astragalus mongholicus. As one of the most important qi-tonifying herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it has been used for over 2,000 years and is often called the “Supreme Qi Tonic.”
